Driving User Acquisition, Engagement, and Retention for the Tencent Video App

As a Growth Product Manager Intern at Tencent Video, I led a team of 20 people to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for Tencent Video app. Through competitive analysis and data analysis, I identified and optimized growth strategies including In-Feed Ads, In-App Ads, and Push Notifications, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and measured the success of growth initiatives.

As a Product Operations Intern at Tencent Games, I helped the team launch a pioneering virtual influencer group to the market that involves 40k+ followers. I optimized the product development process by conducting customer interviews, specifying product requirements, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams, and making data analysis and user feedback analysis.

A Harvard College CS50 Project: International Student Data Visualization Website

For Harvard College CS50’s final project, together with my teammate Rae Gao, I constructed an international student data visualization website using HTML/CSS/JS, D3.js, and Leaflet.js. It provides interactive visualizations of international student statistics and related data for US higher education institutions.

How We Unlearn the Ignorance: Fill the Need for a Comprehensive Sex Education in China with a Virtual 3D Learning Space

At Harvard Graduate School of Education, I worked on an educational technology project called “Curiosity Out Loud,” which is a virtual 3D environment for Chinese teenagers to explore, collaborate, and communicate with fellow students and field experts on the topic of gender and sexuality.
